In Remembrance of Teddy Pendergrass
Funeral arrangements have been announced for renowned soul singer Teddy Pendergrass, who passed away on Wednesday following a lengthy fight with colon cancer. He was 59. According to Pendergrass’ publicist, a public viewing will be held on Friday, January 22, at 10 AM Eastern Time at the Enon Tabernacle Baptist Church in Philadelphia. The funeral will also take place there on Saturday at 10 AM Eastern Time, followed by internment at West Laurel Hill Cemetery in Bala Cynwyd, Pa. Pendergrass passed away Wednesday at Bryn Mawr Hospital in his hometown of Philadelphia, eight months after what his son, Teddy Pendergrass II, reportedly termed “rough” surgery. Read More →
